This notice describes how doratos handles information when you browse, order home goods, ask a product question, request a return, or exercise a privacy right. Shopify also presents its automatically managed privacy policy for this store.
Information we receive
When you shop, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details, and messages to customer support. We also receive transaction status and limited payment information from the checkout provider, delivery and tracking updates from shipping providers, and records of return requests or remedies. We do not need your full card number or CVV in an email or contact form.
The store and its service providers may receive IP address, browser and device details, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, interactions with cart and checkout, and cookie or similar identifiers. Some information comes directly from you; some is generated by the site or supplied by Shopify, payment, shipping, or technical providers.
How we use it
We use information to operate the storefront and cart, present checkout, process orders and payments through available providers, ship products, send tracking and order messages, answer questions, review returns, prevent fraud, secure the service, comply with applicable law, and keep appropriate business records. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand whether product information and site navigation are useful.
This notice does not give consent for optional analytics or personalized advertising. Closing a banner is not a substitute for a privacy choice; use the available store controls and the options described below.
Cookies, pixels, advertising, and the map
Necessary cookies and comparable technologies may maintain cart contents, checkout state, security, and basic site function. Preference technologies may remember choices. Analytics technologies, if enabled, may measure how the site is used. Advertising technologies, if enabled, may measure campaigns or support relevant ads. The categories do not imply that every optional tool is running on this store.
If doratos enables Google Ads, conversion tracking, remarketing, Google Analytics, Enhanced Conversions, or personalized advertising, those tools may use cookies or similar data for measurement or ad delivery. If Enhanced Conversions is enabled, an email address or phone number supplied in an eligible checkout interaction may be normalized and hashed for conversion matching with Google. Hashing changes how an identifier is represented, but a hashed or matched identifier may still be personal information under applicable law. The presence of these tools and available choices depends on the technologies actually operating when you visit; this paragraph does not state that a particular optional tool is active. We will update this notice and the controls if our practices change.
The embedded Google Map on our Contact page and homepage loads directly from Google. Opening a page with that map can send technical data, including IP address and device information, to Google before you interact with the map. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that service.
Who receives information; retention and security
We disclose information as needed to Shopify, the payment provider available for your order, shipping and logistics providers, and vendors supporting hosting, service, security, or site functionality. We may also disclose information where law requires it or to protect customers, the store, or legal rights.
We keep records for fulfillment, customer service, returns, tax and accounting duties, fraud prevention, and disputes for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required. We then delete or de-identify information when appropriate. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed by providers outside your state or country.
Children and state privacy rights
This store is intended for adult shoppers and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child supplied personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; other states may provide similar but not identical rights. How to request or appeal
Use Your Privacy Choices or email support@doratos.com with “Privacy Request” and describe the right you want to exercise. We may verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. An authorized agent may need to provide proof of authority; when law permits, we may also verify directly with the consumer. We will respond within the period applicable to the request and explain any legally permitted extension or denial.
If an applicable state law allows an appeal of a decision, reply with “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you disagree. We will review the appeal, explain the outcome, and provide any further regulator complaint information required by that law. We may update this notice when our practices or legal obligations change; the date above identifies this version.
Product questions and map visits
A question about a basket opening or vase dimensions may include your contact details and the item you ask about; we use that information to answer you. Visiting the homepage or Contact page can load a Google Map for our Palmer correspondence address and send technical information to Google, as described above.
